Interchange Illawarra provide a choice of services for people with a disability and their parent/carers. These services are flexible to allow people to fit them around their individual needs.
To make this happen, we have around 350 staff and volunteers providing person centred support to people with disabilities to meet their individual needs. This can include, but is not limited to, support coordination, community inclusion, in-home and out-of-home respite, social support, as well as assistance for leisure, recreation and group activities.
Be assured, all staff and volunteers are screened, reference checked, have completed orientation and induction and continue to undertake other relevant training such as; first aid and disability-specific training.
