Goldfields Individual & Family Support Assoc Inc

GIFSA was established in 1991 by a self-help group to assist up to six families in need of respite. We have since grown to become a specialised provider of a range of services for people with disabilities in the Goldfields. We are funded by the State Government’s Disability Services Commission (DSC). We also receive funding from the Federal Government. We aim to ensure that all people with disabilities and carers within the Goldfields have access to quality services to meet their individual needs, to achieve and maintain their desired quality of life.
The people supported by GIFSA have a range of disabilities, from mild to profound and severe intellectual disability, acquired brain injury to multiple physical disabilities. We provide a range of services including:
