Alzheimer's Australia NSW

Alzheimer’s Australia advocates the needs of people living with dementia, and their families and carers. As the peak body and charity for all types of dementia, it provides advocacy, support services, education and information.
Alzheimer's Australia administers leading edge national dementia programs and services funded by the Commonwealth as well as providing national policy and advocacy for the more than 320,000 Australians living with dementia.
National Programs
 
Alzheimer’s Australia manages a wide range of innovative national programs to deliver services such as provision of information, support, counselling, training and education to people with dementia, their families and carers as well as to professionals working in the dementia field.
Many of these programs are funded by the Australian Government and are delivered by individual Alzheimer’s Australia Associations in each State and Territory.
 
The services delivered by Alzheimer’s Australia include:

  • Early Intervention Programs such as The Living with Memory Loss Program (LWML)
  • National Younger Onset Dementia Key Worker Program
  • Dementia and Memory Community Centres
