NDIS in Western Australia

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll-out is bringing a massive expansion of the disability sector and it is estimated that the workforce in Western Australia will grow by at least 10,000 to 15,000 new FTE jobs. NDIS in ACT

From 1 July 2014 Western Australia started participating in a two-year trial of the NDIS.

The NDIS trial in WA is unique because there are two different disability service models being run in separate locations.

The State Government’s WA NDIS My Way model first started in the Lower South West on 1 July 2014, then in Cockburn and Kwinana from 1 July 2015.
