What is required at a BE 10?
 
As a BE10, you’re a senior professional with comprehensive knowledge of standards and legislation applicable to business enterprises. As such, you’re able to evaluate service quality and effectiveness, contract compliance, business risks and make and/or recommend changes.
 
A major part of your role will be building relationships with key accounts, organising resources consistent with priorities, and planning and scheduling work or projects.
 
Due to your experience, you’ll also ensure performance requirements, productivity measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) are understood and met by the team.
 
Qualifications and experience
 
Even if you don’t have formal qualifications or training in disability, you’ll certainly have other skills, knowledge, capabilities and transferable qualifications and experience that will support you to have a successful and enjoyable career in the disability sector. 
 
Each employer will specify qualification or equivalent experience requirements for particular roles in the Business Enterprises job family. However, to be considered for a BE 10 role, you’ll generally need to have a relevant tertiary qualification plus significant and substantial experience in a specific discipline.
 
You might also have a post-graduate qualification in a related specialist area, and have good knowledge of relevant compliance and legislative requirements. You will be expected to undertake regular professional development to further increase your knowledge and skill set.
