Systems Administrator - PIR - West Moreton Oxley

Founded in 1907, Aftercare is a not-for-profit organisation that provides an extensive range of programs and services to assist people who might be experiencing mental illness and/or intellectual disability to allow them to lead happy, fulfilling and independent lives. Aftercare is the longest-serving organisation of its kind in Australia, with services in over 40 locations across Australia, supporting thousands of people aged from 12 to 65 years at any given time.

The Program

Partners in Recovery (PIR) is an initiative funded by the Commonwealth Government (Department of Health and Ageing) designed to better support people with severe and persistent mental illness, with complex needs, and their carers and families, by getting service and support from multiple sectors to work in a more collaborative, coordinated, and integrated way. PIR promotes collective partnership, encourage innovative solutions and ultimately facilitate systemic change whilst supporting the needs of people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs.

The Role

Aftercare, as the Lead Consortia partner, is looking for a Partner's In Recovery (PIR) System Administrator for its West Moreton Oxley service based in Ipswich.
This role is multi-dimensional, involving oversight of accurate, timely and responsive reporting requirements to the funding body and consortia partners.

Key responsibilities

FIXUS, the Client Information System

  • Super user level of maintenance
  • Creation of user profiles and operation training to new staff and external stakeholders
  • Reconciliation of participant expenditure (flexible funding, ICB and SW18 coded)

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

  • Monthly NDIS transition reporting to Department of Health
  • Monitor in kind level 2 supports coordination targets
  • Review and incorporate changes as detailed in the NDIS guidance pack - program guidelines for Flexible funding and ICB expenditure during NDIS transition phase
  • Weekly reporting of Support Coordination targets for individual SF's

Administration
  • Taking minutes and performance report compilation and presentation as required
  • Website and social media co-ordination

Our Selection Criteria

We need you to demonstrate a genuine understanding of the challenges and practice issues facing the disability sector within the context of the current transformational change.

You will need to be authentically calm and experienced working with people with a mental illness and/or disability whilst relating with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
Our PIR System Administrator must have assessable reporting and database/software experience preferably within the Not for Profit sector.

Aftercare offers a competitive remuneration package. Salary for this role is based on Level 4 of the SCHADS Award.
