In this role we'll assist you closely in developing your skills while you gain valuable experience in supporting people living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Alternatively, if you're considering taking the next step along your career path with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), this role will see you still receiving the support you need to develop specialist skills. You'll be confident in identifying problems, applying solid clinical reasoning and experience, and participating in the development and delivery of holistic goal-oriented service plans for your clients.

This role is either a part-time or full time position dependent on the right applicant and is located at our Penshurst centre.

What will you bring to the role?

  • A relevant university degree
  • Membership or eligibility to join Speech Pathology Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in disability or a relevant field
  • A thorough understanding of the rights of people with a disability
  • A commitment to making a difference in individuals' lives
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Current driver's licence
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain upon joining
