Research Assistant - Aetiology of Cerebral Palsy and Cerebral Palsy Registers

This is a 2 year contract role. Part-time and full-time applications will be considered. In fulfilment of this role, you will provide administrative and research support for two different streams of research; cerebral palsy registers, and the causative role of viruses in cerebral palsy. The role exists to provide administrative and research support for research activities associated with the Australian/NSW/ACT Cerebral Palsy Registers, the establishment and development of international cerebral palsy registers and research into the causative role of viruses (e.g. HPeV, cCMV) in cerebral palsy.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary research team which is affiliated with the Discipline of Child and Adolescent Health in the Faculty of Medicine, but primarily located at the Brain and Mind Centre, at the University of Sydney (Mallett St Campus). You will be required to travel within the Sydney Metropolitan area (e.g. Head Office at Allambie Heights, Sydney Children's Hospital at Westmead).
