MARKETING ASSISTANT – PART TIME – PICK YOUR DAYS!

Are you currently at Uni studying Marketing and looking for some part time work to compliment your studies? Or perhaps you’re a parent with a Marketing background who’s not wanting the stress of a full time role, yet craves a little bit of that ‘back to work’ life. Either way, we’ve got the role for you!
First, a bit about who we are:
Based in Bella Vista, Interaction Services is a valued based not for profit community organisation, supporting children and adults with disability (predominantly intellectual disability) since 1979.
The introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the new frameworks the sector now works within, has meant the sector is now in more of a competitive environment. The inclusion of a Marketing Department was a necessary addition to the organisation, and this was implemented in 2017.
Now, a bit about what we need:
Our Marketing Manager is looking for someone to take on the role of Marketing Assistant (aka the ‘I don’t know how I did it without you’ person she wants to be able to describe you as). Ideally we’re after someone who can work two days per week (those days can be negotiated to suit – because we’re good like that!), and you’ll be the go to person for:
- Communicating internally with H/O staff and Support Workers to obtain content relating to staff, our participants, their goals and any relevant newsworthy information
- Updating of Interaction website using Word Press
- Social Media (Facebook and Instagram) scheduling and posting
- External enewsletters (currently bi-monthly)
- Coordination of Interaction’s Fitability program – a health and wellbeing program for people with disability, as well as coordination of participant’s monthly visits to local animal shelter
- Assistance with the research and implementation of large scale projects and campaigns
- General Marketing Administration tasks
We’d like someone who’s pro-active and can confidently run with marketing tasks assigned to them. Someone who’s got a bit of marketing experience up their sleeve, and – although it’s a generalist Marketing Assistant role - if you’re someone who’s comfortable in the digital marketing space and has basic-intermediate graphic design skills that would be considered favourably.
Finally, the work environment:
You won’t find a better one! We’ve got around 35 staff at Head Office who are the most down to earth, ‘do anything for anyone’ type of people you will meet. Recently we have moved into beautifully modern, purpose built premises in Bella Vista, which includes activity rooms and the like (so you’ll get to meet and see some of our wonderful participants on a regular basis!)
