Dear ICU/PICU nurse Extraordinaire,
Your decision to click into this job advert is probably going to turn out to be the smartest move you've ever made!
I'll get to why in just a minute...
But first let me guess what brought you here...
You're looking for a challenging but rewarding role where what you do ACTUALLY matters and makes a difference...
You're sick of having to dress up in uncomfortable uniform....And then feel trapped in a sterile environment all day with bright fluorescent lighting and no fresh air...
You have been searching through Seek for a role that is a little different from all the ordinary boring stuff.
And you want a job where you are actually excited to come to work everyday and love what you do...
Well, I have some great news for you...You have just found that very opportunity.
But before you read on, let me be brutally honest and tell you this role isn't for everyone....
Here is Who We Are And What We Do
Having a loved one at home who is either ventilator dependent and/or who has medically complex needs is a unique event in somebody’s life and that includes their family.
Taking them home from an Intensive Care environment is a unique and powerful event...
Probably the most powerful event a long-term ICU Patient and their family may experience in their entire lifetime.
Our mission at INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is simple: to empower long-term Intensive Care Patients and their families and welcome them with new awareness, opportunities, love and joy in the midst of challenges and to give them the precious gift of a peaceful and gentle transition to a Patient and family friendly home care environment.
We are passionate about supporting long-term ICU Patients and their families in achieving a transformational experience and helping them to get out of a sterile and limiting Intensive Care environment back to a place they love and cherish, their own home.
Sound good so far?...
Well let me tell you....

If you believe you have what it takes, tick the boxes above, are willing (more importantly excited) to commit and give it your all, then we'd love to hear from you!
So why will applying for this role be the smartest move you may ever pull?
It's simple, you and I both know that most of the ICU nursing roles advertised are boring and dull and you’ve been around long enough you know that they are in a highly political environment that doesn’t leave you much room to breathe.
They mainly consist of doing the same routine thing, day in and day out, with little room for thinking and acting outside the box. You basically get told what to do and work under a tight time schedule, which can lead to burnout, stress and job dissatisfaction.
This opportunity couldn't be any more different.
No day is the same and you will be interacting with our lovely clients and working in a dynamic environment daily.
A Word of Warning...
Make sure to put your application in as soon as possible to avoid missing out as this is a rare once in a lifetime opportunity...
So If this sounds like the role you've been searching for, then write a CUSTOM cover letter and apply right away as we'll be sure to fill this role quickly.
If you're reading this ad, that means this role is still available. Be quick!
To apply: Please forward your resume WITH your custom cover letter addressing the key selection criteria above and importantly WHY you believe you would be the right person for this role.
Please email your CUSTOM cover letter to email@example.com
Note - Applications that do not include a cover letter will NOT be considered.
We look forward to welcoming the right candidate(s) to our team :)
