UnitingCare lifeAssist has been assisting vulnerable and disadvantaged people, as well as their carers and families, since 1987. Until mid-2014 we were known as UnitingCare Community Options (UCCO).
Our name may have changed, but our commitment to achieve 'a good life for all'remains the same. We assist people in achieving their goals to live the life they choose, living happily and productively in the familiar surroundings of their own homes and communities.
Our mission is to work with vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, their carers and families so that they can live a valued and meaningful life, remaining connected to their community.
the uniqueness and value of every individual, ensuring that they are treated with dignity and respect
right relationships that enable people to guide ther own support arrangements
the strengths and abilities of all
creativity and innovation in the pursuit of goals
transparency and accountability
Take a closer look at our work and you will see that we incorporate a truly individualised approach. When our staff work with someone, their humanity, strengths, capacities and interests are fundamental to every aspect of planning, care co-ordination, assistance and support that is given.
