Sydwest Multicultural Services

SydWest Multicultural Service is a non-profit organisation that manages a number of projects for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds:

  • Community Aged Care Packages project (CACP) which provides support for frail aged people to enable them to continue living in their own homes. Services provided include shower assistance, assistance with meals, light housework, respite, laundry, shopping, transport, advocacy, social support and other as negotiated. The project covers Auburn, Baulkham Hills, Blacktwon, Holroyd and Parramatta areas.
  • Home and Community Care (HACC) project which targets the frail aged, young people with disabilities (over 18 years old) and their carers. Services provided include personal care, in home respite, social support and counselling, information, support & advocacy. The project covers Auburn, Baulkham Hills, Blacktwon, Holroyd and Parramatta areas.
  • Community Partnership Program (CPP) which assists aged people in accessing aged care services that exist in their communities and ensures aged care services are culturally appropriate to meet the needs of CALD communities. The program targets the Tamil and Arabic speaking communities.
