Myrtle Cottage Group

The Myrtle Cottage Group is a community based organisation, providing activities for people who are frail aged, younger people with disabilities, and respite care for people with dementia. Located in Ingleburn, South Western Sydney NSW.
Myrtle Cottage is a registered charity and an incorporated association with it's own constitution.

Programs offered
The cottage offers day activities for people who are frail aged, younger people with disabilities and people with dementia. Activities provide mental stimulation and encourage companionship. The cottage provides five programs operating over six days per week (Monday to Saturday).
The five programs offered at Myrtle Cottage are:
  • Diversional Therapy Program for people who are frail aged (Campbelltown LGA)
  • Community Linkline Program (Macarthur Region)
  • Bell (Dementia) Program (Macarthur Region)
  • Diversional Therapy Program for younger people with disabilities aged 18-60 (Campbelltown LGA)
  • Recreation Program for younger people with disabilities aged 18-60 (Campbelltown LGA)
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Myrtle Cottage Group Inc is to assist frail aged and younger people with disabilities, people with dementia and their carers, who are at risk of premature or inappropriate institutionalisation, to remain in their own homes.
