Deaf Services Queensland is the prominent service provider for Deaf and hard of hearing community members at all stages of their lives with a focus on community and empowerment. Deaf Services Queensland is at the forefront of the National Disability Insurance Scheme rollout, and is already delivering Early Intervention therapy, Auslan in the Home, Interpreting and translation services, Lifestyle Support Services and more to Deaf people who have been allocated an individual funding package by the NDIS. The key services and programs include:

· Auslan Interpreting and translation services in person, and via Video Remote Interpreting

· Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Interpreting

· Indigenous services (FNQ only)

· Australian Sign Language (Auslan) Classes

· Government approved in-home care for Deaf and hard of hearing seniors

· Independent Living Support

· Deafness Awareness Training
