Cram Foundation

We support people who live with profound or severe disabilities by offering services that range from group home accommodation and care, in-home care, community and lifestyle involvement, respite support, nursing care and advice as well as nursing consultancy to other disability agencies

CRAM is first and foremost an organisation about people. We care and support people with a disability and we welcome people who wish to join CRAM because they also want to be involved in caring and support for people with a disability. Whether this is as a disability support worker, a nurse, an office worker, a volunteer or a Board member, we would love to hear from you.
CRAM employs over 100 staff, the majority being disability support workers who provide direct care and support to people who live with a disability. CRAM is somewhat unique in also employing Registered Nurses who offer nursing services to clients and health care training and advice to our care workers. If you feel that you would provide outstanding person-centred support to a person with a disability and would be interested in working with CRAM we would like to hear from you.
With our long history in disability services we understand that finding the right staff is vital for the organisation and most importantly, for the people we support. CRAM utilises a custom designed recruitment process that you will find is different to other organisations. Our recruitment process encourages applicants to decide at each step of the process whether or not they are suited to a career in disability. Past experience in disability or care work is not essential as we can teach you the skills and competency required for a disability support worker. Our recruitment process targets people with behavioural traits and attitudes that in our opinion will result in them providing excellent care in The CRAM Way and ensure client satisfaction with the services provided.
