Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC)

Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is part of the Department of Family and Community Services. The aim of the Department is to provide better and more integrated services for vulnerable client groups in NSW.

ADHC is responsible for providing services and support to:

  • older people
  • people with a disability
  • their families and carers.

We employ more than 13,000 staff and around 80 per cent of our staff work directly with our clients.

We are committed to ensuring that our clients are:

  • lead independent lives
  • have the opportunity to participate fully in community life.

We also provide administrative support to the Disability Council of NSW and the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Ageing (MACA).
