What is required at a BE 9?
As a BE 9, you’re an experienced professional delivering a range of multiple, complex business enterprise services. You’ll also deliver products and services involving planning, implementation and management of ongoing day-to-day operations. A key part of your role is being able to identify new business and growth opportunities, and sell services to both existing and new customers.
Due to your experience, you’ll provide guidance and information to less experienced staff. You may also supervise and coach team leaders in order to build effective teams, plus you’ll ensure that individual training plans are implemented and evaluated.
Qualifications and experience
Even if you don’t have formal qualifications or training in disability, you’ll certainly have other skills, knowledge, capabilities and transferable qualifications and experience that will support you to have a successful and enjoyable career in the disability sector.
Each employer will specify qualification or equivalent experience requirements for particular roles in the Business Enterprises job family. However, to be considered for a BE 9 role, you will generally need to have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience. You will be a fully proficient professional and be expected to undertake regular professional development to increase your knowledge and skill set.
