Gerard, who appears in one of carecareers' TV advertisements, was a Don't DIS my ABILITY ambassador in 2010. As part of his role he spoke with school students and promoted the campaign in NSW.

carecareers created campaign stories to showcase some of the staff (and their clients) working in the NSW disability and community care sector. Meet Maria and Gerard, Ken and Ange, Linda and Mr Lam.

In February 2010 carecareers held an official launch party to celebrate the start of the project and to thank the many people involved.
