Transport and facilities roles

Many transport and facilities roles in the disability and community care sector require practical skills to help enable a client to continue to live in their own home. The work can range from installing ramps or modifying bathrooms, through to maintaining a garden or delivering meals.

All of these roles improve the quality of a client’s life, as being able to access these services often allows people to remain in their own homes for longer, or allows them to live more independently - even if this is in a hostel or group home setting.
