Physiotherapists

A Physiotherapist's role includes the teaching of movement skills, organising equipment to help clients walk or completing gross motor activities with relatively mobile clients so that they can participate in games and sport. They may also assist clients with a significant disability to move into positions where they can interact with the world and utilise the movement they have.

Physiotherapists may undertake their work in client homes, in schools, in residential settings or in a range of other service settings. It can involve developing and implementing hands-on programs or establishing programs to be carried out by clients at home.
