Open Employment Consultants

Open Employment Consultants focus on finding employment for people with disabilities and supporting people with disability to enter the workforce, by training and placing them in these roles. Consultants may also work with organisations who employ people with disabilities to ensure that the workplace is set up appropriately.

Open Employment Consultants need the following skills and knowledge:

• Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy
• Commitment to support and encourage people as they explore new opportunities and enter the workforce
