What is the Careers Centre?

The Careers Centre is a recruitment service staffed by experienced Talent Advisors who support both hiring managers and candidates in their recruitment needs.

Talent Advisors are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, to assist you with all of your enquiries. Call 1300 637 637 or email info@carecareers.com.au.

What can the Careers Centre do for me?

  • Advice on best practice recruitment processes
  • Recommendations on job advertising
  • Assistance with the development of job descriptions
  • Talent pool searches for relevant registered candidates
  • Best practice guidance on interview techniques
  • Auto alerts to registered candidates that match job criteria
  • Enquiry management both online and via 1300 637 637
  • Response management (acknowledgment only)
  • Delivery of potential candidates from applications
  • Advice on offer management
  • Access to our Employer Directory where employers can upload information about their organisation for candidates to access

This level of service is currently free-of-charge to eligible organisations in the community care and disability sector within New South Wales. 

Are there additional services?

Once we have established our standard service with the majority of eligible organisations, we will be able to offer even more support which will make the whole recruitment process more efficient, driving down the cost per hire, minimising talent turnover, and reducing the time taken to recruit the right person. This level of service will include:

  • Comprehensive response management from acknowledgment, to confirmation of interview or unsuccessful notification
  • Candidate screening against set criteria to deliver a short-list of suitable candidates
  • Basic background checking
  • Post-hire communication
